Asma Patel has been volunteering in the community most of her life and this passion and zeal to help others led her to becoming a victim advocate, an attorney, and an active board member at the Mercy Foundation. At the Mercy Foundation, Asma is the chair of the women empowerment leadership and development committee.(WELD) WELD is a platform that connects, educates, and supports women of all ages and backgrounds. She is also the Co-Chair of the education committee working on various education initiatives.

Naji Aalim is tasked and responsible for establishing, maintaining, and running a fully functioning food pantry here in Osceola County. He is also co-chair of the newest addition to the Mercy Foundation family, the Homeless Veterans Program. He provides help, assistance, and facilitates for our President, multiple partner agencies, and events.

Teresa “Terry” Castillo has over ten years of experience in the Learning and Development field. She has worked as a facilitator, sales coach, and instructional designer for Apple Inc., Florida Hospital, and Charter Communications. She has experience in K-12 education as a tutor with the Valencia-Osceola District GEAR-up partnership and as a Psychology teacher at Freedom High School. She is currently a Training Manager for the Orange County Clerk of Courts. Terry holds the following board and committee memberships: Crummer Graduate School of Business Professional MBA Association - Career Enhancement and Community Service Chair, Osceola County Education Foundation- Board of Directors, Florida School Board Association- Board of Directors, Florida School Board Association- Advocacy Committee, Legislative (state and federal) subcommittee member, and Marydia Community Advisory Board.

• Dr. Wael Jamaleddine
Dr. Jamaleddine is Board Certified in Family Practice in private practice and serves as the Medical Director of the Free Clinic of Florida. He is past Chief of Medical Staff at Heart of Florida Hospital. He is past Chair of CAIR-FL Orlando Advisory Board. He is a current board member of the Hanan Foundation that promotes education and health for Syrian Refugees in Turkey. He is a passionate advocate of human rights including the right to healthcare for all.
